The (San Francisco) Bay Area Theatre Artists e-mail list was created as a way for actors, directors, stage managers, and other theatre artists in the San Francisco Bay Area to share information relevant to their trade. The list is moderated, which means that e-mails sent to the list must be approved by one of the list moderators.

* This is understandably a touchy subject, and should be done with caution and respect. It seems appropriate to be able to say, "Has anyone worked with this director before?" or "Has anyone worked at this theatre?" This seems to me to be an invaluable way to get information that could help you to decide whether or not to accept a part or job. However, I don't want this to become a forum for flame wars or character assassinations. So, use discretion and be respectful. That's all I ask.
